ALLEN B. for JCPenney Spring 2011 Lookbook

Here's the Spring 2011 lookbook for ALLEN B. by designer Allen B. Schwartz, a collection exclusive to JCPenney that's always trendy, young, fun - and really affordable. For spring, the vibe is an unlikely '80s-boho mashup, featuring peasant blouses, leggings, cropped jackets, dresses and all flavors of denim, from colored to dark skinnies to lightwash straight-leg. Slim cargos and maxi skirts also make an appearance as do bold prints, from florals, to stripes to polka-dots. The styling is highly questionable but I think there are moments of potential, like the neon/neutral gladiator sandals, the puff sleeve denim jacket, the striped moto jacket or the one-shoulder polka dot dress. Shop these spring looks now and in the coming weeks at JCPenney stores and jcp.com.

I LOVE the striped jacket and the gladiators...the rest is very cheap looking to me.

I see some really great pieces in there! I have to say that I can hardly contain my excitement for the fishtail braid the model is sporting! It really brings back the 80's (early 90's) for me!!
