Enter JewelMint.com's St. Patrick's Day Giveaway

St. Patrick's Day is today and JewelMint, created by the actress/stylist duo Kate Bosworth and Cher Coulter, want to get in on the holiday cheer with an exclusive giveaway!

Starting today, March 17th, JewelMint will be giving away 7 pieces of jewelry to 7 Lucky winners lasting 7 days (until March 23rd).

Tweet #JewelMintlucky7 and follow @jewelmint on Twitter to enter! One winner will be chosen at random at the end of each day of the contest.

For a $30 membership, JewelMint subscribers can pick one piece of jewelry per month from their personalized virtual showroom. This e-commerce model is part of a growing trend which includes sites like SendTheTrend.com (Christian Siriano) and ShoeDazzle.com (Kim Kardashian).

Maybe it's the commitment-phobe in me, but I have yet to sign up for any of these subscriber shopping sites. I'd rather just shop at a variety stores and pick things that appeal to me and my ever-changing moods.

Have you tried JewelMint? Are you a fan?

I'm a fan of Jewelmint. Only received one item but like that you can opt out each month, so it's like a half-commitment. :-)

I've gotten a few pieces from them and they are pretty nice. But yeah you don't have to buy something every month. They have the opt out option at the beginning of each month.

Cool. What if you forget to opt out, are you billed? Also do they have free shipping and returns?

No if you opt out a month you don't get charged. I know they have free shipping. Returns I'm not sure about.

Cool, thanks.

Sorry I missed that part of your question if you forget to opt out yes you are charged 29.99 but that earns you a credit to use anytime. They send you an email at the first of each month to show your new selections. If you don't like them then you can opt out then. You have 5 days to opt out for that month.

I don't know if it still works like this, but when I signed up for Jewelmint I didn't have to give them any credit card info. So I get my selections every month, but until I actually decide to purchase something (thus giving them my billing info) I don't have to worry about remembering to opt out!
