This weekend I stopped by Urban Outfitters and was pleasantly surprised by all the upbeat offerings for spring, from flirty skirts and feminine tops to the amazing selection of retro accessories, like structured bags, cool hats and fun shades.
Look to the mannequins for styling ideas: Plaid shirts and denim shorts, printed dresses topped with jackets, slouchy sweaters with curve-hugging minis. If you're looking for a go-to spring outfit, you might just find it at Urban.
Also, don't miss the sale racks - I saw a coral blouse for $19.99, and their Mulberry "Alexa" bag knockoffs were marked down to $39.99 in three colors. For the home, I loved a lot of the inexpensive options for showcasing your jewelry, like a coral branch jewelry stand or triple-tier ring tray (photos after the jump).

I made a skirt nearly identical to the one in the first picture last summer. The D.I.Y. can be found on my blog here:

Does anyone know of UO is one of those stores that doesn't carry everything in store that they do online? Because I've been eying up the Silence & Noise racerback romper for a while now but I want to try it on first. It seems it may be difficult to pull off.

BB, I've always wondered..when you take in-store pictures for these type of features, do you have to notify the store manager beforehand? Or do they just let you b/c I know in the past, that stores like Forever 21 usually don't let you do in store photos, but you never seem to have a problem with it.
