The Look for Less: B.O.C. by Born Floral Wedge Slides

These B.O.C. by Born "Jamaica" sandals are $49.99 (down from $69.99) at Famous Footwear.



You could get the look for less with Merona's "Ettie" leather wedge sandals, $24.99 at Target.com, but I wonder if these will be as comfortable as the Borns. Does anyone know from experience?

This isn't the first time Target has "copied" the look of Born sandals. They've done it for the past 3 summers in a row. As for comfort: I can't say I've road tested the Merona ones, but I have the Born ones, and they'd be hard to beat, comfort-wise.

I own a pair of those Born sandals in yellow (bought them for $50, I think, at Marshalls) this year, and they're some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They look very similar to the ones in the photo, but I'm not sure if they're the exact same style. I picked up another pair of Born wedges, also with a flower motif, this spring at TJ Maxx as well. I've also seen the Target wedges, and they look very similar, but I'm not sure how they measure up as far as wearability.
