Celebrity Style: Jamie King in Banana Republic 'Mad Men' Lace Dress


Actress Jamie King wore a lace cap-sleeve dress from the Banana Republic "Mad Men" capsule collection paired with what appear to be Prada's espadrille oxfords. Interesting choice of shoes…but I do love the dress. The BR Mad Men collab officially launches August 11 so look out for it then if you like this look.

This dress looks a little cheap, especially for the Banana Republic price. I was really excited about this line, but when I saw it (on Gilt, I think), I was underwhelmed.

Piper - you're right. I ordered it from Gilt and it came last week. Very disappointed in how flimsy it looks and feels. For $130, it should be way more substantial. Unfortunately, it's a "no return" item on the site.

Sorry to hear that, I'd try emailing customer service or contacting Gilt on Twitter, they are very responsive and they've helped me out in the past when I was disappointed with a purchase. Good luck!

I love the dress, she looks so fab in it. However, I could do without the shoes. They might be cute with some cigarrete jeans and a slouchy band shirt, but I am just not feeling them with the lace.
