First Official Look at Missoni for Target

The first official image of the Missoni for Target collection has emerged, featuring Margherita Missoni decked out in zig-zag fashions toting a zig-zag suitcase. There aren't too many surprises (remember the leaked paparazzi photo?) but it's exciting nonetheless - the retro Beetle Fiat 500, narrow cobblestone street and signature Missoni prints are enough to get anyone giddy about the September 13 launch. I'm pretty excited for this collection! In the image above, though, the men's cardigan caught my eye. I hope it comes in sizes small enough to fit me! :-)

I am so excited about this collection! If you receive official pictures to post beyond these I would looooove to see them! This will be my biggest shopping trip to Target ever! I've been looking forward to this ever since you first posted it. The only other Target collection I could be more excited to see would be Target: Pucci! In the photo above I love the black and white suitcase. I will also be looking for the bedding and perhaps a skirt based on other pics I've seen.

So beautiful! This is going to be an event! I desperately want the mod dress she is wearing, and the rainbow luggage is so beautiful! Can't wait for this one, will be at Target day one!

I am hoping so hard that my Target carries at least part of this line, especially the housewares. I think everything online will sell out really fast. Counting the days!!

It's not a retro Beetle. It's a Fiat Cinquecento (500), which are ubiquitous in Italy.

@anon: Ouch, my fiance is never gonna let me live that one down (he's a car fanatic, and made me sit in the fiat 500 at the NY auto show, they're coming to the states!)
