The long awaited moment has finally arrived: The Target for Missoni collection is here! At the moment this post was written, I'm noticing a few pieces are already sold out, like a throw, one of the jar candles, a toss pillow covered in fabric loops and those lovely suede pumps (which to me look better in the photos than in real life, but they're still pretty). In other words, go now if there's something you'll regret not getting. If you happened to stay up last night and you know the exact moment the Missoni collection went live, please let us know in the comments! Also, let me know what you buy online or in stores. I'm going to get some bath accessories online and then see what my store has in a few days.

I looked at the ballet flats and the black and white zig-zag striped blouse, but made myself only choose one footwear item and one shirt.
Everything except the bedding was immediately picked over. Some people just grabbed everything they thought they might want and then were trying stuff on and going through and tossing aside stuff they decided they didn't want. Just craziness!
I didn't drive by the Target by me, but I could imagine a huge line! I was reading on FB and twitter feeds with people waiting in line outside of Targets allover! And sounds like online had all selection (including online exclusives) whereas stores had selective pieces depending location etc.
Good Luck!!!!
PS I hope I don't get an email that they had to cancel items with lack of stock etc!
Some of us can't be up at 2 a.m. buying stuff online and have to actually be at work when Target opens. Scalpers suck.
The saleswoman said the first few people in the store yesterday just swept the racks. Each had carts full of stuff. I really wish target would have put a limit om per item sales. Many who really wanted to buy these things for ourselves were usurped by those who wanted to resell anything they could on eBay.
As far as the eBayers go and the people who had their carts piled high with multiple sizes, I say: don't hate the player, hate the game. Target chose not to limit quantities and people took advantage of that to try and make a few (hundred) bucks reselling. Can't say I wouldn't do the same if I was unemployed. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
You should check it out.
