Off the Rack: January Shoe Highlights at Target

Yesterday I went to Target to check out the latest shoe offerings. I feel like I haven't checked out their shoes in eons. It's not that I haven't been to Target recently but each trip has been for other things like holiday gifts and stuff for the home. Anyways, my shoe department was a mess, it seriously looked like a tornado had struck, but I was still able to scope out the finer footwear options like wedge ankle boots and Lanvin-inspired colorblock platform pumps. Many of these styles are already on sale, which just goes to show how far behind I am. My favorite pair had to be the Isabel Marant-inspired ankle boots shown above, they run a full size small (for me at least). However they didn't quite go with my straight-leg jeans, so I'll have to go back with some skinnies to see how they work out (or don't). Which pairs do you own/love/want? Does your store already have spring styles in stock?

I got the pair of really tall heeled bootie things with laces and buckles (6th pic) and I love them! I ordered a pair like the ones you featured from Shoemint, which I got for $40, but they smell chemically and I don't see that they have much better quality than Target...

Not a fan of this season's offerings. I'll have to check back at Target pretty soon for spring options.

I tried on so many of these, but ended up scoring a pair in their clearance section instead. I was not impressed with the comfort of most of these I tried on. Lots are cute, but if I'm going to spend any money on them, I'd like a little comfort. :-)

I almost bought the pair of boots you tried on in black but realized I have a similar pair from American Eagle, otherwise I definitely would have bought them. I think they'd look great with skirts and dresses this spring.

I am loving the color block heels too! I saw them several weeks ago and even mentioned them in one of my recent blog posts! They are TDF! I am a Target freak I can't wait for the Jason Wu line!

I need to go to Target ASAP! The first pair look like Rachel Comey's Penpal boots.

I have the fur lined wedge booties and love them! They are super comfy. I also have the black heeled booties with the buckles and laces and they are incredibly painful, but so cute.

Thanks to you I am about to get in trouble. You know what is going to happen right? After work I will have to fly to my Target and see if I can find the two tone Mary Jane's. Love the natural color with a splash of red. Thank you for always sharing the latest great finds ;-)

The lace-up boots with 2 buckle straps remind me of Dolce Vita's *Wyatt*. I thought it was DV for Target, but it's not. They're definitely much more affordable, which I like. Gotta check my local Target.
