Judging by reader comments on the Marni for H&M lookbook post, your feelings towards the collection are lukewarm at best. But let's see if these party photos can change your mind. Here, you can see how the clothes look in "real life" without all the eccentric styling and photoshopping that you see in the lookbook. For me, the lookbook is an artistic vision for the collection so I enjoy seeing both. But here you can see how the clothes look on a variety of women - I get that they're all celebrities, and some of them are also models (ahem, Milla Jovovich) but just play along: For example, I love how Drew Barrymore (above left) topped the polka-dot dress with a black blazer and added a big statement necklace and bold lip. She makes me think, Maybe I could pull that off! And while that green-and-white abstract print dress looked absolutely drab on the model in the lookbook, I think it looks simply adorable on actress Jessica Chastain, especially with her gorgeous red hair. And don't get me started on blogger/model Hanneli Mustaparta - she makes that blue polka-dot skirt suit look so cool and quirky, I'm loving everything about her look.
