Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?

Citrus hues like lemon, orange and lime give a jolt of color to Spring fashion. Afraid of looking like a Fanta girl? Just pick a hue that works with your skintone (fake tan, anyone?) and accessorize with neutrals. Here's a tart little tunic to get your taste buds going. Refreshing!

I have been loving the bright pops of color this spring.

You're definitely right about needing to be careful about the right shade for your skin tone though!

I've found it harder to pull off neon brights (like the F21 tunic). The Ali Ro Dress looks a little darker and is a little easier to wear.

No doubt, neons are tricky to pull off! Which reminds me - makeup can make a huge difference when you're wearing brights. I don't typically wear much makeup, but I find that some bronzer, lip gloss and mascara ensure my face won't look washed out against a bold, bright color.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I like them both! I'm a big fan of brights, and luckily I have a pretty versatile skin color so I can play around! Also, I'd like to mention that as long as you keep your accessories neutral (like black) its easier to pull off a bright without looking like a fanta! :-P

The Forever 21 dress is the exactly color of my bedroom. So hip, so warm, so luscious.
