Last week, on the long ride back home from a two-week vacation in Newfoundland (we like road trips), I made a quick stop at an Atlantic Superstore in New Brunswick to check out the latest offerings from Joe Fresh. This Canadian fast-fashion brand first hit my radar about 3 or 4 years back during a different road trip to Canada (we love Canada!), and it was love at first sight. I lamented the fact that we didn't have Joe Fresh in the States (besides a few recently-opened New York City locations) but all that is about to change next spring when Joe Fresh boutiques will be popping up at JCPenney stores around the USA. Hooray!
I'm guessing that the clothes you see in these photographs I snapped will be very similar to what we can expect to see at JCP. Similar to Old Navy in quality (and possibly sizing), Joe Fresh offers modern, everyday fashions for women, gents and kids. They also carry accessories like sunglasses, shoes, bags, belts, swimwear and workout gear including cute yoga pants and jackets. Joe Fresh even has a fab beauty line (3 for $10 nail polishes are my favorite) and everything's super affordable.
On this quick trip, I snagged a dark denim shirt for $24 and a Persian Blue nail polish. I wish I had time to check out the summer sales racks, where I spotted colorful shorts and cute tops marked down under $10. If you're concerned that these options are all a bit too casual, I would add that the Manhattan Joe Fresh stores I've been too offer more fashion-forward pieces, dresses and skirts as well as office appropriate pieces like blazers and tailored pants. If JCP stores offer a combination of casual and dressy Joe Fresh, I think we'll have a lot to look forward to next spring.
If you're a Canadian fan of Joe Fresh, let me know in the comments. How's the quality? Do styles vary greatly from store to store? I'm all ears!

If you see something you love, you have to buy it right away because it won't be in the stores for very long.
