I have this pendant that my dad got for me from a temple in Thailand. It is of the Goddess of Mercy. I'm not particularly religious but everytime I need some luck (exams!), I ALWAYS wear it!

I think that my friends and my family are my good luck charms. I couldn't ask for anything better. They're always there to make sure nothing bad happens to me, and they really look out for my best intrests. I think that makes them the best good luck charm ever! =]

My grandmother was one of the holocaust survivors. The only thing that she was able to save was a cuff link that had belonged to my grandfather. It was the only thing she had left from her family and she managed to somehow smuggle it in and keep it hidden until she was liberated. It was passed down to me 3 years ago when she died and to me it is a lucky charm. It is lucky because it reminds me to never give up, cherish each day I have, hold close those I love and remember always how lucky I am to be here and have a family history I am so proud of. I never let the link leave my side.
