Ask BB: J.Crew Collection Cafe Capri Pant Look for Less

J.Crew Collection Cafe Capri pants come in a wide variety of artsy prints

Where can I find a less expensive version of J.Crew Collection Café Capris? The patterns are awesome but almost $230 is a bit steep for my budget. —Dana B.

{Shown above from left: J.Crew Collection Café Capri pants in Liberty floral print ($250), hummingbird floral ($225), bazaar print ($545) and painter's floral ($495).}

J.Crew's eye-catching cafe capris are part of a print-pant craze, and there are options at every price point. My first suggestion, for style and price, is from the just-launched Joe Fresh line at JCPenney:

{Joe Fresh tapered leg pants ($39), slim-fit sateen pants in green print or dark blue ($29 each)}

I'm also loving the selection over at The Limited right now. Added bonus: Select jackets, skirts and pants are now buy one, get one free online. Here are two of my favorites:

{Drew Classic Ankle Pants in Cobalt ($24.99, down from $59.90) or Floral ($59.90)}

New York & Company has a few fun print options as well as solid colors. They're also running a buy one, get one free deal on pants or denim, as well as 40% off sitewide with coupon code 3664 plus free shipping on orders over $50:

{The 7th Avenue Slim Ankle Pant in Floral ($49.95), Delightful Daisy Stripe or Polka Dots}

And of course, let's not forget fast-fashion favorite Forever 21, which has lots of under-$30 capris in prints that range from geometric to florals:

Forever 21 watercolor capris ($24.80), geo cigarette pants ($17.80), floral sketch capris ($24.80)

My favorite printed pair is from Ann Taylor. I got them on sale in the fall, and they fit like a dream. I must go back for a second pair!

I also got a great pair in a solid hunter green color from MNG for Mango at JCPenny.

I love printed ankle pants! I have a pair from Old Navy and am debating a floral pair from Target (both are less than $30).

Thanks for responding. It's still snowy here, but I am dreaming of spring and these pants look so fun.

I am about to get the Forever 21 pair! They also have the same print in shorts, a pencil skirt, and pleated skirt. How do you style printed pants though?
