Off the Rack: Simply Vera Vera Wang March Shoe Highlights

Spring shoes at Kohl's

I'm always impressed with the variety of styles in the Simply Vera Vera Wang shoe collection at Kohl's, and my last "inspection" of the line was no exception. For early spring, highlights include perforated heels in a nude or black color, wedge sneakers (inspired by Isabel Marant, no doubt), metallic sneaks, bow-embellished flats and colorblock wedge sandals. I can't speak to quality or comfort as I'm not in the market for new shoes at the moment but I think a lot of these have that "you got those at Kohl's?!" wow-factor that's worth a look.

These are from the ELLE collection, I believe. I just liked the mint color and pretty cutouts.

These aren't by Vera Wang either, just some TOMS knockoffs. The whole point of wearing TOMS is that when you buy a pair, they donate a pair of shoes to someone in need so the knockoffs kinda defeat the purpose, IMO.

Whoa, those black SVW heels with the stones covering the heels make them kind of look like spines. I like. Ha.

Yeah, the variety and styles in the SVW line always surprise and impress me. Add in sales, coupons and Kohl's cash, and my house looks like the Kohl's shoe department... lol

the tom's "knock offs" are actually sketchers Bob's collection who also donate a pair for a pair bought. so they're more like competition than knock offs.

oh, I see the shoes pictured are another brand now oops lol but kohls does carry Bob's and they're just another style of shoe so I don't see any problem with knocking off either cause.

Thanks for the info! I know Payless has a program similar to TOMS, didn't realize Kohl's did as well.

How much were the nude/black perforated heels on sale for? I don't see them online anymore.

I was recently introduced to Kohl's and have scored a TON of amazing finds there lately. Those SVW nude perforated heels are killer!

I agree with you on TOMS knockoff's. I think the reason why they were made in the first place is because TOMS are somewhat expensive- however it's just like giving a charitable donation to those in need when you buy a pair.

RE: Toms- I've a bone or two to pick with them. I don't know how I feel about corporations that hide behind the mask of philanthropy, when it's just helping them increase profits. I don't know. I get that everyone is out there to make a buck but really- how is giving someone a pair of shoes breaking down poverty? If I'm in a condition where my most basic needs such as adequate food and shelter aren't met, what the hell am I supposed to do with a pair of shoes?!

But OMG BB, those nude perforated heels are beauts! I tried them on at Kohl's over the weekend, and my feet DIED, but they were beautiful. I put them down and instead got these nude lattice peep-toe heels by Jennifer Lopez. Just as beautiful but not as unique. And SO comfortable!

I grabbed the nude perforated heels after seeing this post. They're almost a dead ringer for a Prada pair that Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere has been featuring for years. I've seen her work them into endless options, so I know I'll get my money's worth out of them.

Good call! I didn't make the connection but now that you mention it, I know exactly which shoes you're talking about - and Emily has rocked them countless ways. Love this recent post she featured them in with a pastel peplum dress and white blazer:

Plus, perforated everything is big for spring so its a triple win!
