JCP Fall 2013 Lookbook

A look for JCP Fall 2013

The JCPenney Fall 2013 lookbook is here, showcasing the top women's trends from some of their most popular brands including Liz Claiborne, Bisou Bisou, Cosmopolitan, Worthington, MNG by Mango, jcp, and Levi's. JCP is still working hard to revitalize its brand, and I think they've done a decent job with this fall lookbook to appeal to old customers and hopefully draw in some new ones as well. I'm loving the tuxedo stripe pants, the fox sweater (a season late but still on-trend and totally cute), and pretty much all of the coats. JCPenney is still stuck in a sort of retail limbo between Target and Kohl's so it'll be interesting to see how sales go this fall. Where do you stand with JCP at the moment? Loyal shopper, newcomer, somewhere in between? P.S. The fox sweater is by the jcp label, available for $32 in September.

I have been a loyal JCP shopper forever and really hope that they can gain some momentum this season because I would be so sad to see them close their doors. That first coat with the stripes is amazing - top of my wish list, for sure! :-)

Before I moved to the States I remember JCP was a little stop on my family's shopping trips but then they got weird so it's no longer a "must". After I moved here I didn't shop there at all till I couldn't fin any clothes for my extra petite mom and grandma, so in came JCP and oh boy, I's neglecting a wonderful place of cute petite clothes! I hope they do better as it's truly one of the very few places I can get inexpensive and cute clothes for mom and grandma, and hey, even for me!

I was a loyal shopper for years (I'm 28 and just grew up shopping there and never stopped until their "transition" last year), and now I can barely stand even being in the store. It's a combination of a lot of things. Unfortunately, this lookbook doesn't give me any desire to go check things out. I do like the snow leopard sweater with tuxedo pants outfit though. I agree the coats may be their best bet this year. Thanks for bring us the lookbook!

I always like their clothes online, but then I go to the store and am just bothered by it so I don't go in. Does anyone else's store seem like an abandoned warehouse with too bright lighting? The concrete floors, the bare shelves, the lack of color. ugh. It does NOT put me in the mood to shop

Wow - I want like a lot of this lookbook! Makes me excited for fall.

I love the laser-cut leather-esque mixed with those florals. Cute!

wow, I am really impressed and am already making mental notes of things I'd want to buy... this makes the ending of summer not seem so bad!

That foxy sweater? Love. I recently went into a JCP to buy some shorts for my girl and we couldn't find one thing either of us felt the urge to buy and ended up going to Charlotte Russe & F21 instead (and finding too much!). I was interested in checking things out after all of the recent shake-ups but I think they were still in transition because the pickings were slim. I'll go back next month and see if things have improved any.
