Each week, we're turning to some of our favorite fashion bloggers for tips on when to splurge and when to save. To kick us off, we're chatting with the gorgeous Sydne Summer of Sydne Style!
MOST REGRETTABLE BUY
When the harem pant trend came in fashion a few years ago I wanted to try it. I bought a pair of pants, wore them once and cringed. Luckily, I had a feeling I wouldn’t fall in love with the style so I only spend $18. But when drop crotch pants come back, I won't be trying them again!
WHAT DOES YOUR FALL WISHLIST LOOK LIKE?
I do an A-Z Trend Guide every season on Sydne Style and I basically want everything on the list! Out of the 26 trends, I’m most excited about leather sleeves. I’ve seen a few jackets that aren’t crazy expensive I’m currently deciding between. I’m also looking forward to the zebra trend. An animal print clutch is an easy and affordable way to update last year’s outfits. I’ll be doing a web series on the A-Z Trends on youtube.com/sydnesummer so make sure to stay tuned for that on the first day of Fall!
P.S. YOUR GUILTIEST SHOPPING SECRET
Sometimes I shop in the kids section! I’m on the petite side so occasionally I’ll take a peek into the little girls section (and I do mean very occasionally). Years ago, I found an amazing jean jacket at Gap Kids. Target also has really great belts you can wear at your waist if you buy a L or XL. The best part? Kids clothing is so much less expensive!
