Leather is one of the biggest trends for the season. And there are so many affordable faux options available. One big leather trend that recently emerged is the baseball cap.
Honestly, when I first saw this trend I was hesitant. Whenever I’m not sure about a trend, I usually wait a while and then try an inexpensive option. So that’s what I did—and now I’m hooked!
I found this cap at my Forever 21 in Los Angeles. It quickly sold out online but you might find it at your local store. If not, there are two very similar options online from Zara ($25.90) and BCBGeneration ($32).
When shopping for faux leather hats, steer clear of anything too shiny. It tends to make the items look cheaper. Instead, go for matte leather. The softer the leather the better! Of course, you can’t always feel the leather when shopping online. So another trick is searching for quilted accessories, which always look pricier.
