If you've been on a self-imposed shopping hiatus for the month of January, look away! Okay just kidding: Here are some shoe styles you might want to scope out at Kohl's once that ban gets lifted: For everyday, I spotted some stylish mid-calf moto boots ($68 down from $85) and combat boots ($64 down from $80), both by Candie's, that are on-trend but won't feel dated next year.
If you're like me and can't get enough ankle boots, then you'll love the latest LC Lauren Conrad ankle booties ($80). These are basically just a mixed-material update to an earlier shoe style from her line but hey, it's a tried-and-true look that works.
I also spotted these Candie's peep-toe shooties ($48 down from $60) which look identical to these Steve Madden 'Nonstopp' slingbacks. Clearly this shoe will be everywhere for spring. Speaking of looks for less, these Jennifer Lopez studded pumps ($60 down from $75) hint at the Valentino Rock Stud - a fun going-out heel.
Finally, I eyed some amazing Rock & Republic ankle boots with a metal accented toe and cut-outs (similar) - a nod to the Balenciaga cut-out boots (like these) that are so hot right now.
My only qualm with these shoes are the prices - $64 for faux leather combat boots seems astronomical considering you could get genuine leather name brands elsewhere. I think the price should reflect the quality of the shoe, which in my experience is only marginally better than, say, Target (depending on the style). You know I love my Kohl's, though, so I'll just wait and stalk these bad boys until the prices are discounted even further.
Have you shopped shoes at Kohl's lately? Which looks are you loving?
