Oh, hey. Peter Pilotto for Target launches today! Maybe you're staying up late to shop it online at Target.com or Net-a-porter.com, or perhaps you'll be first in line to shop in stores. Either way, take a look at how these celebrities wore pieces from the collection (probably gifted) at the launch party that was held in NYC earlier this week (did you catch our Instagrams?) for some styling inspiration.
First up: Alexa Chung (above) wore a skirt from the collection. This is probably the most wearable look of any celeb and also the most practical - it was freezing in NYC, so Alexa was wise to pair her black and white graphic print skirt with a cozy sweater and tights. I love her choice of pale sky blue - the pastel feels so fresh right now, as does her orange lipstick.
Diane Kruger is one of my favorite celebs to watch as she always manages to look polished and daring at the same time. She's working head-to-toe prints for the red carpet, but again, you can take the top or skirt individually and mix it with jeans or a simpler top for a more casual approach.
Case in point: Amber Atherton takes her Peter Pilotto for Target print shorts and pairs them with a sleek black moto jacket. These versatile shorts could be worn with a simple white blouse or tank in the summer as well.
Dree Hemingway is rocking what I'd call the West Coast fashion blogger look. It's young and fun! Her loafer flats feel unexpected and help tone things down a bit.
Taylor Schilling wore a dress from the collection with simple black pumps. The all-over print has a dizzying effect that you'll either love or hate.
The more I see Louise Roe, the more I like her. She's working the midriff-baring sweater and skirt, but off the red carpet these pieces would work well separately.
Katie Lee looks cute in a sweatshirt from the line paired with leather pants. I'm hoping to try this top on just because it's something I can wear everyday running errands. Sweatshirts are having a moment and I'm not about to miss it! Lazy fashion at its finest.
Zoe Lister-Jones styled her Peter Pilotto for Target dress with black tights and black heels, then added a bright yellow-gold clutch to complement the blue hues. It's simple and it works.
What's on your shopping list? Let me know what you buy in the comments!
