What We Love Right Now

Fashion is fleeting, and so are our feelings towards it. But here's what we think is absolutely amazing right now:

Coral lips: As seen on Carolina Herrera's Spring 2008 runway, this gorgeous shade does wonders for all skin tones, just experiment to find the hue that's right for you. I prefer this color in a lip gloss like Fire Coral Plumping Lip Glaze from e.l.f.

Lightweight scarves: You've seen them on ALL the celebs, and with good reason: They truly do punch up any outfit in an instant. And, you don't have to wear a bright color or trendy tie-dye if you don't want to: Opt for neutral shades, and a solid or simple pattern for a truly refined way to accessorize. Find them at H&M, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and The Pashmina Store.

Beads: Stacked bead bracelets or layered strands of bead necklaces make a chic statement. You'll look like you've just recently returned from an exotic vacation, rather than a trip to a mall (avoid all the low-grade silver and gold jewelry you see at mall kiosks. Looks cheap. Unless you want a Carrie Bradshaw name necklace - those are always hot.) Get gorgeous beads at H&M, Banana Republic, Target, and Forever 21.

Black Blazers: It's the perfect transitional piece of outerwear for Spring, and of course, the blazer is perfect for the office. But not just any blazer will do: Try this boyfriend blazer from Target, or this single-button black blazer from Topshop for an effortless, fashion forward look.

What can't you live without right now

I can't live without strawberries & creme frapps from Starbuck's, oh so addictive. And also, I don't know what I'd do without my suspiciously lightweight scarf from Urban Outfitters. On days when I'm feeling lazy about what I'm wearing, I just throw the scarf on to any old shirt to at least look pulled together.

I'm all about the pumpkin spice lattes in the fall/winter, but I've never tried the strawberries & cream...sounds delish!

I can't live without my ballet flats from the Gap- There so small they fit in the bottom of my purse (in another bag of course!) and whenever I need to switch shoes, be it because my heels are killing, I need to walk more then I expected, or have to take Public transportation- I can whip them on and dart around where ever i need to go in comfort and style! Def. a must for any girl thats taking the train/bus downtown and wants to switch to heels but isn't going to risk balancing on the train platform in stilettos (me!)

I can't live without (for summer): 1. J.Crew embossed beach dresses (super-fun styles and colors that can be dressed up or down). 2. Neutrogena Age Shield Sunblock with Helioplex, SPF 30 (okay, so I'm young, but it's never too early to start!). 3. Homemade gelato from our local sweet parlor.

I can't live without my Havaianas and Ipanema flipflops, they're super comfy and cute at the same time. I wear such high heels during the week (4 inches is the norm) that when the weekend rolls around you won't ever find me wearing anything else other than my Havas and Ipas.

Right now, I can't live without Dansko's Nolita series sandals. They're actually from last year, but still available in several styles on 6pm.com. Comfortable beyond all human comprehension, and with a fab wedge heel that makes legs look deliciously long and slender. I bought three styles in two colors each, no lie, and I wear them constantly.

Also living in my Gap jean jacket since it STILL hasn't broken 60 degrees here in MN. Sigh ...

Once it warms up, I'll also be toting my thrifted straw handbag all weekend every weekend. $3 at Value Village, and style to spare, baby!

Woven Lightweight scarves are perfect since they come in bright colors and fun patterns. You can add them to any outfit you think is boring. I love adding scarves to my outfits to make them pop. Here is a store that sells really nice basic scarves then scarves with patterns.
