Fitness Fashion: Fabletics February Review

Fabletics February Review

I hope you ladies have been enjoying this monthly dose of fitness fashion! Fitness fashion is saturated with styles and graphics that are unquestionably syndicated throughout all major and minor brands. While I am a fan of many, Fabletics has my everlasting appreciation for their designs and colors since I know I won’t find their exact designs copied from Nike or Lululemon or what have you. Their apparel is simple but not lacking vivacious colors and quality, two key necessities for the ideal workout gear. Here are my picks from their most recent line released in early February!

Fabletics February Review

Camacan Capri in Black/Impulse Print Pink
VIP $39.95
Regular $59.95
I’ve reviewed and own several pairs of Fabletics capris, and the Camacan meets my standards too. No see-through material. I’m not a fan of the cropped pant look so I was relieved to find that these hit me mid-shin and not right below the knee. The paneling is a pattern of salmon pink, green, grey, and black blocked lines—an energetic design to jumpstart your spring workouts! Personally I prefer these instead of an all-over print because the black base will help it match with more and not overwhelm!

Switch Back Tee
VIP $19.95
Regular $34.95
I was majorly bummed with this tee. I was obsessed with the open back with crisscrossed fabric, but the material is so thin I feel like I could tear or stretch it too easily. Obviously you aren’t buying a top like this for warmth, but if it were a bit thicker and stretchier I would for sure order more in different colors. The fit is baggy to begin with and the draping is what gives this top is allure, but I feel like it will stretch out over time and I would end up fussing with it too much. I wanted to wear it for workouts but for this reason, it will probably just be a casual/lounging top for me.

Temecula Vest

Temecula Vest
VIP $34.95
Regular $49.95
Every time I see or wear a vest (despite how stylish they actually have become), I think of Regina George’s words in Mean Girls: “That vest was disgusting!” But it didn’t stop the love-at-first-sight feelings for the Temecula Vest. Besides the fact that I wish I had ordered an extra small instead of a small, it will definitely be a standout item in my fitness wardrobe. As the warmer weather approaches, it will be nice to have a piece like this to throw on post-workout when I need to cover up, but don’t necessarily want a full sweater or jacket. A vest like this could easily look cheap or poorly made, but the mesh on it is sewn in neatly and gives that sporty-chic look without being too flashy.

Hamilton Sweatpant

Hamilton Sweatpant
VIP $29.95
Regular $44.95
You know that one pair of favorite sweatpants that are so cozy and warm and know just how to comfort you after a long day at work? Yeah…hang on to those because these won’t be replacing them. I wanted to like these so bad and I was expecting them to be a bit more insulating than they are. The Hamilton would be ideal if you live in a warmer climate, or just don’t mind feeling like you’re wearing just a sheet around your legs.

Disclosure: I received the Hamilton Sweatpant and Temecula Vest courtesy of the brand. The other items I purchased myself. The decision to write this review and all opinions expressed within are entirely my own.

I have the switchback tee in blue and its one of my favorite lounge shirts. Definitely wouldn't work out in it, but it is super cute and comfy.
