They look ugly and silly. Not even SJP can pull off those. Only girls below 14 are allowed to play with those socks, I think.

I have to admit, this outfit on her and the accompanying outfit that Cynthia Nixon was wearing in this scene were the scariest looks of the film.

However, the tights themselves worn with something else could be great. I myself am coveting a pair of black & white striped ones to be worn with Maryjanes.

Not my style, but I could see somebody super young rockin these with the right outfit. I worn these type of legging back in the 80s. I could never go there again, though.
