My April Picks from Fabletics Will Motivate You To Get Bikini-Ready!

Fabletics fitness apparel review

We're back at it again with the April line from Fabletics! The bandwagon for getting into shape for summer is full-speed ahead, and it isn’t too late to join. They’ve got the perfect selection of bright plums and blues, new patterns, and unique tops to motivate you right into that bikini (or bandage dress). Here's my review of two new pieces sent to me by the brand this month (as always, you'll only get my honest opinions.)

Taylor Tank in Orchid Purple (shown above), $20
This top was quite the contraption to get into! I made the mistake of not folding it carefully, so when I picked it up again to put on I had a hard time figuring out which holes were meant for my arms and head. Okay maybe a little dramatic…but once my blonde moment was over, I was in LOVE.

The top is super lightweight and won’t drag you down during any type of workout. However, I warn you it will probably not hold in place real well for lots of multi-directional movement unless you buy it to fit snug to your body. Last time I ordered a small in a Fabletics top is was too big, and this extra small turned out to be just right for me. I will be using my Taylor tank on any outdoor workouts for sure – the breeze will have easy access through this beautiful woven back. Ventilated AND cute!

Fabletics workout bra review

I love this bra, but I don’t love it. I knew even before receiving it that I would not wear it while working out. Not because of appearance—the mosaic pattern and colors could not be more springy and fun! Anyone who knows me is aware of my addiction to fun workout gear. What was in question was more of a functional concern.

My bra size is a 34D-DD (depending on the brand and style) and this was a medium. The circumference was perfect and the straps were snug but didn’t cut into my skin. The cups were what I have an issue with—not nearly supportive enough for sprinting, jumping, or high-intensity workouts. It does have padding and adjustable straps in the back, but it feels very flimsy even just holding it. I was bummed because the bra is even more adorable in person than when I first saw it online. Looks like it will just be a lounge bra for lazy days.

This particular item is no longer available on the Fabletics site, but for a similar look try the Doon Sports Bra in Mosaic Print $25.

I would recommend checking out Fabletics accessories too! They have some funky colored and patterned headbands, totes, and hats that will have you spring and summer ready in style.

Disclosure: I was able to select these two pieces courtesy of the brand for review purposes. The decision to write this review and all opinions expressed within are entirely my own.

I can see why getting into that top looks a bit complicated but it's so fun so totally worth it! :-) Love your review!

Love that tank top! I agree it looks like quite the contraption to get into, but it's so pretty once it's on!
