What do you do on a cold and rainy day in June? Head to Target for some retail therapy! On one such recent trip this week, I spotted a few new items worth checking out to liven up your summer wardrobe. For everyday, I'm loving these stripe maxi skirts ($19.99) - the blue stripes remind me of a serape blanket - and for the boho babe, this Mossimo lace-inset maxi skirt ($19.99) looks very Free People but at a fraction of the price. I also loved this crochet-trim halter top ($17.99) as a stylish alternative to basic t-shirts that's just as easy to wear.
Mossimo 'Rita' tropical espadrilles ($24.99) are vivid and fun in person, perfect for pairing with summer whites and light denim. For lounging (an area of our wardrobe that often gets neglected), this palm print sleep chemise ($19.99) looks summery and feels oh-so-soft.
In the home department, I smiled when I spotted these Room Essentials yellow decorative pillows ($19.99) as seen on The Mindy Project. (Save an extra 10% off select home items today only with code SUNSHINE) Nice product placement, Target! And the pillows are beautiful, too.
And if you follow me on Instagram, you probably already saw this amazing watermelon doormat, just $12! Unfortunately I couldn't find it online but these are in-store now if you're interested.
Finally, I'm in love with these anchor bookends ($23.74) - they'd be perfect for a nautical theme kid's room, too. But I want them for my own bookshelf! Waiting for a better sale ($1.25 off is no discount, Tar-jay!)
Keep browsing below to see in-store photos of the items I've mentioned here and more great finds! See anything you love?
