Check Out Bittensjp.com. Again.

If you've already been to bittensjp.com and been disappointed by the lack of content, check it out again, because it's been updated with new looks from the collection, videos and something called "SJP's Manifesto." (Dramatic? Not at all.)

Don't Read This: Bitten SJP Update
This shapeless top from the SJP Bitten clothing line was the best thing we could find...and that's not saying much.We've been avoiding this topic for weeks. We finally made it to a Steve and Barry's store to check out Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten clot

This clothing line is amazing.... I went to the opening at the Manhattan Mall and had the chance to meet SJP. She is an amazing woman who knows what young people want and also knows that they do not have much money to by expensive name brands. This was one of the best experiences of my life and the clothing fit great as well. I would like to thank SJP for understanding us young people and for her kindness at the Mall.

I WATCHED THE OPRAH SHOW THE OTHER DAY AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CLOTHES THAT SARAH JESSICA PARKER HAS OFFERED TO PEOPLE ON A LITTLE BUDGET. HER CLOTHES ARE VERY AFFORDABLE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA WHERE THEY CAN BE PURCHASED. THE VILLAGES IS A GREAT ADULT COMMUNITY AND THE WOMEN LIKE TO SHOP ALOT. I KNOW BECAUSE I AM ONE OF THEM. CHECK IT OUT IF YOU CAN BRING THESE CLOTHES TO THE VILLAGES. THEY JUST OPENED A GREAT STORE CALLED ANTHONYS IN COLONY PLAZA THE VILLAGES, FL. BUT I REALLY WAS IMPRESSED ALOT OF HER CLOTHES. IF THEY OPEN A STORE HERE THEY WILL DO VERY WELL. ALL STORES AND RESTAURANTS THAT OPEN HERE DO A FABULOUS JOB. WE HAVE ALOT OF SNOW BIRDS AND ALSO THERE ARE 50,000 PEOPLE THAT LIVE HERE.

I understand your frustration at the fact that there are no Steve and Barry's stores in your area. But with new stores opening all the time, maybe one will open in your neck of the woods sooner rather than later

A few things you could do in the meantime...
Contact Steve and Barry's and tell them why The Villages, FL, needs a store at customerservice@steveandbarrys.com.

Share your thoughts on the Oprah.com message boards--they have dedicated staff members who read the boards and might be able to give you some tips. If nothing else, your message will gain more visibility!

Shirley, there are Steve and Barry stores in both Orlando and Kissimmee. The Kissimmee store is less than an hour and a half from you.

I've purchased a few items from the line on Ebay, not realizing there was a store in North Miami Beach (which is an hour from me) but I'll be making a trip down there soon. I'm VERY happy with the quality and styling. What might be thin and cheap to some people is delightfully cool in the South Florida weather....I also like that her sizing is realistic. I am a completely average size 10 and Bitten is one of the only lines I can wear a medium top.....I also like that her shirts are a bit longer, something a lot of people have ignored as the waistline of jeans kept dropping (thank god that's over).

Ok, we're officially jealous!
However, we can't complain as we were one of the lucky gals who got to see SJP in person at the Oprah Show taping. Although they didn't show it on TV, SJP gave every audience member a complimentary "Freak" handbag filled with goodies and a $25 giftcard to Steve and Barry's. She is even more lovely in person and comes across as authentic. Thanks for confirming the positive impression we share of Sarah Jessica!

I would like to thank Sarah Jessica Parker for what she has done for the kids of today that con't afford a lot, but want to be cool like all there rich friends. I have two kids in college and I ahve been there and done that, trying to do what we could. My husband and I both work and we could never do the expensive clothes. I am happy that today kids can be dressed nice and still stay in an budget. You did a great job helping the kids and little women. Maybe you can think about a plus size line. Thanks Robin B.

Re: a plus size line...According to Steve and Barry's, the BITTEN collection was designed for women of all ages and sizes, with a full size range from XS-XXL in tops, 0-22 in bottoms, and 5-11 in shoes.

So check out the stores near you--they may carry your size, too! Good luck, and let us know what you find

At this time, items are only available in stores--not online.

However, the Steve and Barry's website says they are working on making the products available online, so check www.steveandbarrys.com and www.BITTENsjp.com periodically for updates!

I was super excited to see SJP come out with a line. Not only is sheek and classic in her style but she wants to do something admirable by creating a line that everyone can afford. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! The tough thing is that I want to order now and am having difficulty beacause there are no stores close to me. We need to get this on line soon.

I love your clothing line BITTEN. I am however disappointed that it is not available to Canadians. No online shopping i understand the demand is so high. I also understand that the company that help you produce your beauitful clothing is American. That is wonderful- but when do we get a BITE.....we want to be bitten.

It is to bad that there are not more stores available, I would have to drive over 2oo miles just to go to get to a Steves & Barry's. It is a shame that you can not buy SJP clothing on line.

I cannot find the (in July 2007 issue OPRAH) the Rope-handle tote, $69.98. listed on pg. 222 of the Shop Guide of the magazine. The web side has SO little available. How can I get the bag?
