Forever 21 Finally Shares Details About The Branded Shop

Forever 21's Branded Shop features dozens of brands
Forever 21, one of the largest independent fashion retailers in the world, has expanded The Branded Shop on Forever21.com to offer over 100 women's and men's fashion, beauty and lifestyle labels.

Not sure what The Branded Shop even is? I've hinted at it here on the blog, and just as I was about to email my PR contact at Forever 21 to get details on The Branded Shop, this press release landed in my inbox: "The Branded Shop is a curated shopping destination on Forever21.com that offers emerging, as well as established, women's and men's labels that compliment Forever 21's fashion and accessories. Launched in November 2014 with 20 brands, The Branded Shop continues to expand, introducing new women's labels such as, Amber Sceats, Billion Dollar Brows, Dolce Vita, Eva NYC, Frends, Shashi, Sonix Cases and more, making Forever21.com the ultimate online shopping hub."

My guess is Forever 21 was waiting to gauge the success of The Branded Shop before talking about too much publicly, and since the shop is a huge, growing success, they're ready to chat.

While I personally haven't shopped any of the brands - I'm content with Forever 21's super affordable "in-house" merchandise - I think it's a genius idea to reach millenials and other shoppers who are concerned with ethical fashion, independent designers, and original designs no one else has. Plus it helps them compete with companies like Nasty Gal and H&M, although Forever 21 is still in a league of its own.

Have you shopped The Branded Shop at Forever 21? What do you think?

I get where Forever 21 is trying to go with this, but as a lover of Forever 21 and their prices, it kind of annoys me when I'm shopping online there and I see something that really catches my eye and then get immediately disappointed that the piece I just fell in love with is $200. It would be really nice if their branded shop had prices that were a bit more reasonable, since that is the whole point of shopping at Forever 21.

That's happened to me as well. Also, while Forever 21 was always big, it was contained; I hate when sites get so much inventory that you feel like you're missing out because you can't possibly browse everything, and it leads to decision fatigue, at least for me. Too many options and I jump ship!

I completely agree, I have been so disappointed to see some cute things and find the price not at all in line with what I expect at F21.
