Fall Outfit Pinspiration: Leopard Pants with All Black

Fall outfit idea featuring Old Navy leopard pants, black ankle boots, black hat and black sweater
Leopard pants look city-chic and sophisticated for fall paired with all black extras, like a chunky sweater, high-heel ankle boots and a black felt hat. Plus this look relies on the old budget style tip that says black always looks more expensive than other colors! Read on to get my budget friendly picks under $40 to help you recreate this look without breaking the bank...

The pants:

Shown above are the Harper pants, $28 at Old Navy. The leopard print is really nice and classy, not trashy! Good for work or the weekend. You could also easily wear these with a white button down topped with a blazer (or not) or a chambray shirt and flats. Also comes in plus-size HERE.

Target has these leopard joggers now in stores for $24.99. They look better in real life. But might be trickier to style due to the silhouette. These resemble a pair of leopard print joggers that J.Crew carried not too long ago.

The sweater:

Again I'm showing the Merona cowlneck sweater that's in Target stores now, but I can't find it online yet. Comes in gray and camel, too. See how versatile it is?! See it styled in gray here and in camel here.

Here's a chic black sweater at forever21.com that's just $22.90.

If you want something a bit lighter, this Halogen sweater has a flattering v-neck and on-trend side split ($40.80 at nordstrom.com).

The boots:

The boots shown above are these Chelsea high-heel boots by Metaphor ($39.99 at sears.com). I found so many great things from the Sears Metaphor brand on my last trip to the store. Definitely hit up Sears for some diamonds in the rough.

Simply Vera Vera Wang also has some sleek black boots for fall that look more expensive than they are, like this pair (under $50 at kohls.com).

Extras like the hat and coat:

Floppy hats and felt hats are really in for fall so you can find them everywhere! I got a navy felt hat for around $30 by Hat Attack at T.J. Maxx. Target also has this style (this one looks great in person)

Nordstrom has a wide selection of fall hats from super luxe to bargain finds in the juniors section. Love this one.

Of course don't forget Forever 21 - this stylish hat is just $12.90.

And I love my Walmart bargain buy! This hat is just $13.97 and comes in camel or black. See me wearing it in this post.

As for coats, check H&M for a fashion forward black topper under $150. So many good options.

Wait. What's that you say? You want a well-made coat that'll last for years? Try stalking theoutnet.com. This J.Crew coat is just $202. With a little patience you can find an amazing designer coat at a fraction of the retail price on this site.
