For today's "look for less" post I decided to do a little something different and combine a couple options in one spot for your viewing pleasure! We all need layering pieces for fall that keep us cozy and stylish, and I've settled on these three picks as your must-haves for the season. If you don't buy anything else, at least consider these:
First up, the (faux) suede jacket. In a gorgeous shade of rich merlot red, you'll feel luxe and on-trend in an instant, layering this topper over a simple t-shirt and jeans or a tunic and leggings.
Next up: The utility jacket. The olive hue is a great neutral that flatters everyone and matches just about everything, from plaid to polka-dots. It adds a rustic/sporty edge to ladylike dresses and blouse and skirt combos, too.
Finally, the quilted vest. I live in my quilted vests during the fall and winter and find them just as warm as a coat when you layer them over a shirt and wool sweater. Perfect for fall festivals, trips to the playground or heading downtown to grab a coffee.
What are your fall outerwear must-haves this year?
