Sophia Zigmond | The Budget Babe Summer Intern
When people ask me how I got started with blogging, my story always goes back - waaaay back - to that time I had a summer internship with NationalGeographic.com in Washington, D.C. The position gave me a lot of valuable skills and fueled my interest in this new thing called "the Internet." Now that I head my own website, I'm thrilled to be able to offer an internship position this summer to a very talented student who will no doubt teach me a thing or two about her area of expertise - social media - and more! Please give a very warm welcome to Sophia Zigmond, and let her know what kinds of things you'd like to see on the blog in the comments section or on our Facebook page! Read on to get to know Sophia a little bit more and stay tuned for her first post coming to the blog later this afternoon. -BB

Hi Budget Babes!

My name is Sophia Zigmond and I am a current student at Indiana University. I am currently studying public relations with a focus in social media as well as minoring in event planning. Ever since I watched my first season of America's Next Top Model I was absolutely intrigued with the fashion world. I love clothes, makeup, art and everything else that goes into making fashion what it is today. I do not have one defined sense of style. I believe that fashion should be fun and have no limits, so I like to experiment with a lot of different aesthetics. When I don't have my nose buried in the latest edition of Vogue, I can be found at the gym, my favorite coffee shop, or in the boutique I work at. My guilty pleasures include Keeping up with the Kardashians, anything Free People (even if it means spending my entire pay check), iced coffee, One Direction, Instagram, and the color black.
