The Best Shoes to Shop at DSW Right This Minute

Best Summer Shoes 2016

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7

I was feeling especially inspired after a shoe shopping trip to DSW the other day, so I got busy and wrote this piece. I personally own 4 of the 7 styles shown here, and I may go back for more! If you're not sure what to buy, focus on old-school tennis shoes, platforms, gladiators and anything 90s inspired. These are my top 7 shoe picks to carry you through the summer season in style (and even the fall, really) - and they're all under $100.

The Best Shoes to Shop at DSW Right This Minute

1. Mix No. 6 Glenora Gladiator Sandal, $49.95
Gladiators convey an edgy music festival look. The knee-high gladiator sandals are so dramatic that they can make a statement with any outfit. I have these shoes and I wear them with cut off shorts. Buy them, buy them now!

2. Steve Madden Snorkell Wedge Sandal, $49.95
Platforms are everywhere right now! Forget your wedges from previous summers and trade them in for a chunky pair of 90s platform shoes.

3. Mix No. 6 Gwoasa Sandal, $49.95
Wear them with a sundress, wear them to a wedding, wear them to a picnic. Who doesn’t love a pair of high heels? They might not be your traditional pair of heels, but they are just as classy.

4. Birkenstock Mayari Flat Sandal, $94.95
Birkenstocks have been around for decades but of course as we all know, fashion likes to repeat itself. I have a pair and I love them so much. My foot is molded into the sole, so it's almost like they are personalized just for me! I love wearing my Birks with ripped skinny jeans.

5. Adidas NEO Sneaker, $59.95
My personal favorites. I just bought these shoes and if I could live in them, I would. Adidas All-stars are back and better than ever. They have a ton of support and are perfect for practically any summer activity. And let's face it, these classic sneakers are way more price-friendly than Yeezy’s.

6. Sanuk Yoga Slinged Up Flat Sandal, $29.95
Another one of my personal favorites. These Sanuk sandals have cushiony yoga mat soles and cozy fabric slings. You can walk all day in these babies and you will be blister free! You don’t even need to break them in!

7. Charles Albert Farah Flat, $19.95
I’m obsessed with these blush colored lace-up flats. They have been a major trend this year. I recommend this shoe style with a business casual look for work.

Comments
I have those blush lace-up flats and while I loved the look and price point, they haven't held up well where quality is concerned. :-( They kind of feel like they're made of cardboard or something. DSW has some other great options for this type of shoe though.
