Shown above: Who What Wear Mock-Neck Gauze Blouse
Earlier in the week I went to my happy place aka Target determined to try on clothes with my two boys in tow. I timed it so they had both just napped, and it worked out pretty well. It would be cool if the dressing room floors were made out of that rubbery stuff at playgrounds, just a thought. Anywho...I headed straight for the Who What Wear display, which rolls out new pieces every month. The first thing that caught my eye was this bell sleeve blouse - it is so on point! My store had one on the mannequin but I couldn't find any on the racks. I'll be checking back for this one!
Next I I tried on this tie-neck dress in a size small and loved the print but the silhouette wasn't working for me. Maybe it would work with a belt? Or a cropped jacket to give it some shape. If you like the stripes, this dress looks much more flattering.
I also tried on this floral pencil skirt (also comes in black/white gingham or a rusty brown) which would look amazing with a white blouse and heels for the office. It's very long, so you tall girls will be happy, and if the length isn't right, you could always get it hemmed. I tried it on with the matching floral top and my 3-year-old made it known that he did not like the combination. Fair enough! You could wear these pieces as a set or mix and match with other items in your closet.
The piece I expected to like the most turned out to be the most disappointing - this shirt dress was clingy and sheer. I wish they made it in a more substantial fabric, because then it would be perfect.
Finally, my favorite piece that I tried on was this mock-neck gauze blouse. I liked the pretty crochet detailing, full sleeves and soft fabric. You could wear it with cut-offs on the weekend or with a pencil skirt for the work week. So good.
In terms of sizing, I'd say it's true to size Misses sizing; I'm wearing a size S in all these pieces. I believe the pencil skirt was a size 4. It's similar to Merona or Ann Taylor, to give you a point of reference. But as you read customer reviews on target.com, you'll see there are some inconsistencies in sizing, so try before you buy if possible. And the best part: Who What Wear is available in plus size, too. Well done, Target!
I was also able to take a peek at the shoes and accessories before I had a full-blown baby-and-toddler mutiny on my hands...the Sawyer boot is back (which always makes me think of "Lost" for some reason) and the Merona Raelin boot . I kinda love this low fringe Tatyana Moccasin boot by Mossimo.
The Shiann features some questionable weaving, while the Francesca boot's buckles make it look more high-end (reminds me of the B.P. Tandem bootie).
If you're ready to buy boots and want genuine leather, you're better off shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale where you'll find lots of chic options under $100.
Any Who What Wear fans out there? It's really good, right?

Well , I'm not sold on Who What Wear at Target, but I have to admit, it looks GOOD on you! Especially that Victorian styled blouse. I'll have to check it out. I just ordered a similar Leith blouse at Nordstrom, which was $48.00 on sale. It's a great cool style during this hot summer!
Have not followed you before, but title caught my eye. I just want to take a moment of your time as a mother and a grandmother to ask you PLEASE do not offer any type of support to Target Stores. Your pics were published by you, imagine if they weren't. You have small children, you have a responsibility to protect them and yourself as a mother. Target has chosen to disregard my desire for comfort and safety. Any man at any time and for any reason can walk in the restroom or changing room that you and your children are using. I am not talking about gay or transgender individuals, I love all people, I'm talking about any crazy man that wants to walk in a woman's restroom or changing room, can do so. Please join us in keeping yourself and your children protected, and together let's force Target to offer other options.
Thank you for reading and considering my opinions and fears,
Jacqueline Jones

What size are you wearing in the white top? Did it run big/small?
I'm wearing a size small, felt true to size. It's meant to be breezy
