Inspired By: Mischa Barton in Mulberry

Actress Mischa Barton looked marvelous in a two-tone Mulberry dress with black peep-toe wedges at the Black Ball UK in aid of the ‘Keep A Child Alive’ HIV/AIDS charity in London. Inspired by Mischa's ensemble, I was reminded of all the duotone dresses that I've been seeing at fast fashion chains like Forever 21, dating back to this tweed cami dress by Black Halo. There's no need for a black skirt and white blouse - the four frocks above give you both in one article of clothing. Granted, they're no Mulberry, but the concept is similar and it's growing on me. Would you wear this look?

I don't like that it is a two tone black and white look..maybe if it was 2 colors that are actually a little more colorful.. like a white and a nice dark pink or a royal blue. I would definitely wear it. Or something similar to mischa's dress. I just hate the idea of black and white put together as a contrast (boring) especially on something like a dress.

I agree with Neira, I also like the way she wear. But the black and white combination is too conservative. Its was too boring and dull. If you go to restaurant, people might mistaken you for waitress...sorry!

I would absolutely wear this look. Black and white are boring together if worn in a staid, conservative style ... but I think these dresses have adorable embellishments and flattering silhouettes. Paired with great shoes, these would make a girl look like a modern bombshell.

I like everything except number 3. It's a babydoll dress again---babydolls and trapezes should got to go. It doesn't do anything to the body except cover it. Babydolls have been here since the early 90's and we're now almost 2010, and it's still there. Yea a lot of women love it (that's why they stay that long) because they hide flabs and fats. But there are so many ways to hide them other than getting dressed up with these horrendous trends. It makes anyone look pregnant (whether slim women or big women).

I've probably tried on 1 and 2 and I think they are adorable but at times, separate pieces might be better if you aren't necessarily the same size in top and bottoms.
