I really don't agree with Nina Garcia's comments on Project Runway. why? Because she herself is caught wearing shiny , very short and tight clothes that make her look like she's trying hard to look like an 18 year old to the prom. I saw a picture of her in TeamSugar and the title was "Ask Nina about your fashion concerns" and it was ironically a picture of her at her worst. I saw some girls wearing short, shiny and tight clothes. But it all depends on who wear it. If a 40-something like Nina wears it, sure it will look cheap. But on younger girls, it doesn't.

I totally agree with bingkee. I honestly laughed when I saw that Nina Garcia, of all people, said this. Most of the time, she's wearing something very short and tight, and I often think she looks like she is trying too hard.

isn't this a classic case of 'shoot the messenger?' regardless of whether she practices what she preaches or not, she's right. young girls may look 'better' in short, shiny, and tight clothes, but they would look a lot better in other things. fashion icon supreme jackie o was known to wear clothes one size larger and nobody ever complained she looked frumpy, did she?
come on ladies, when are you going to learn that LESS IS MORE?

She is right, but when you aren't practicing what you preach, you come off as a hypocrite which is exactly how Nina comes off right here.

That IS the fastest way to look really cheap, and slutty. That dress was really ugly, poorly done and he deserved to be kicked off for it. When you have one sentence to get your point across i thought she did a good job of it. And I disagree, I have never seen a picture of Nina wearing something that looked like THAT. It was straight up stripper wear.
