Dress by Number: Actress Leighton Meester

I have a confession to make: I do not watch Gossip Girl. I know I should tune-in for the fashion alone but somehow the planets have never quite aligned in such a way that made me catch the popular teen drama. But that doesn't mean I can't admire Leighton Meester's fashion sense - both on and off the show. While Leighton's character, Blair Waldorf, is known for her eccentric, fashion-forward looks, the real-life star proves she can turn heads in something as simple and refined as a little black dress. This particular number, which she wore at the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 premiere, strikes me as especially flattering, and the shoes are drop-dead gorgeous. She's adorable, and her style is worth copying.

I love Gossip Girl! Ok, so I primarily watch because of Leighton's character Blair, the clothes, and because I think Chace Crawford is hot. The shoes are yum, and I think I've seen something similar to the dress she's wearing from BCBG.

I adore Leighton Meester! Although I don't watch "Gossip Girl" either, the actress always looks adorable both at Hollywood events and on the street, and is well-spoken when interviewed. I recently bought a (not-so-great-edition of) Lucky Magazine just because it had her on the cover! Clearly, I'm a sucker for advertising ... Haha. Thanks for featuring her!

I love that girl's style, though I, too, am a Gossip Girl know-nothing. My penchant for teen dramas leads me to believe I'll be instantly addicted when I finally get around to it, tho.

Those heels are so lovely. If only I had the stiletto skillz ...
