Love this look! I think it's the cool shoes that take it from blah to unique.
kate bosworth always puts together such seemless outfits that are so sweet and pretty. i love how you broke it out for us too! btw, the initial necklace i wore in my picture was from helen ficalora (she's amazing) and the other longer charm was just a charm i picked up at a bead store that i threw on a chain. thanks for reading!
oooh nice, helen ficalora. i've added an initial necklace to my (never-ending) wishlist. thanks for visiting!
Oh yes indeed. Bosworth is right up there with my other style icon, Cate Blanchett. One icon for envelope-pushing, one for sleek, pared-down elegance. Excellent choice, lady!
OMG, I am so in love with those flats! I just ordered them. I need to stop coming here because of my tendency to impulse buy.
I don't agree that these cropped jeans is a flattering length for most gals. It's not. Jeans that are cropped, no matter what length, just cut a woman's height. Especially if you're not tall, this cropped jeans will make cut your legs off and will make you look shorter than you really are. Either wear jean shorts or just normal-length jeans.
You raise a good point, but I think pants that are cropped anywhere from just above the knee to the widest part of the calf are the most flattering alternatives to full-length jeans (which are definitely the most flattering of all). And they're a good alternative to short shorts if you're trying to cover some skin. Having said that, you might have to get them altered depending on your height or pair them with heels rather than flats.
This is the kind of outfit I want to wear all summer -- so easy and breezy. Of course, I just cut off old pairs of jeans instead of paying 70 bucks, LOL.
