Here's a super easy and affordable DIY that's perfect for Valentine's Day but cute enough to leave up all year long. I posted this on Instagram and some readers said it had a Kate Spade vibe - love that!
Materials:
Canvas
Painter's Tape
Black Paint
Paintbrush
White Glue
Glitter (I used gold)
Directions:
Step 1: Mask off your stripes on the blank canvas. I just eyeballed it and it turned out great, but you could measure the stripes to be more accurate.
Step 2: Paint black stripes. Allow to fully dry.
Step 3: Layer a few stripes of tape together, then fold in half and cut out your heart shape. Adhere heart mask to your canvas.
Step 4: Cover the heart area with a light coat of glue using a clean paintbrush.
Step 5: Sprinkle glitter generously over the glue. Shake off excess and allow to dry.
