All of those drop crotch pants are absolutely hideous. It looks like there is a diaper under there.
Other than the long navy blue pea coat (upper left), and the waist-length black jacket on the bottom right, NONE of this seems practical. I respect the desire to bring affortable high fahsion/haute couture to the streets, but this is such a poor way to go about it. I'm very disappointed.
I mean, seriously. Drop-crotch pants?!?!? Where can those even be worn?
It's all certainly rather um...different. But aside from the first coat, there's nothing here that I would consider wearing.
hate to sing the old song... but really drop crotch pants? not much in this collection but the first peacoat I fancy.. oh and the 2nd model scares me slightly..
WOW, that coat, top jacket and grey dress are the bomb!! Man, I wish we had an H&M out here!!
In Asia, especially Japan , and Korea, they wear these stuff. Their style is unique , eccentric and youthful. Well, they can pull it off because most Asians look way younger than their age.
They clamor for these type of clothes. Look at their fashion magazines---very extreme compared to US high -end fashion magazines. If you can , go there and you'll witness the most refreshing, most vibrant and the quirkiest street fashion you'd ever see.
Okay I agree with you, bingkee for the most part but THIS is not how people in Japan dress.
I've seen people in Japan and I could swear that they are one of the best-dressed people in the world. Literally, I would be able to sit and watch people for ours and admire every person's sense of style. However I don't honestly think that the clothes seen in this post reflects the ways people from Japan dress even if it is "eccentric and youthful" as you say. But anyway, I do agree with you that Japan does have high fashion and if you keep up with their fashion magazines, they often do set trends more often than others.
I hope some of this stuff is still available in late September when I head to Chicago for a trip. I really like the dress and tops and jackets! Indianapolis' H&M is the closest (2 hrs away) and I'm too lazy to drive there!
I wish they'd done a little less black and a little more color ... but I could see myself wearing all of these pieces. Except the harem pants.
Am I the only one who sees the beauty of the harem pants? Anyone?!

i guess if you want to look like a strange french mime, this is the way to go. other than that, i think if you wear this stuff guys will laugh at you.
was the person designing this on something? the 2nd photo looks worse than a diaper - i ain't goin' there. the model looks like she was let out of the asylum for her sunday walk. |
