The best thing about fall/winter are new boots (like the Charles David chocolate suede ones on 6pm.com), leather swing coats (like the one from Newport News), tweed, leather gloves, scarves, tights, sweater dresses, even cute closed-toed shoes (like the 2 pairs I won on ebay).
But best of all, looking for the PERFECT holiday dress for Christmas parties.
It's time to fall forward.
Not to mention that I def look best in the rich colors of autumn.

I live by the Tim Gunn motto, "make it work", and a new season poses plenty of fun creative challenges to do just that. Break out those dark jeans with the not-ready-for-storage summer platforms! Layer those brightly colored July tanks with your September button-downs! Add on a silk earth-tone scarf, chunky vintage necklace, shimmery 70s cocktail ring, or statement bracelets aplenty and you have a look you can surely "fall" in love with... at least until winter takes over and we're all bound in (our most fashionable) wool and fleece.
Thanks for the cool contest!
