Luxe vs. Less: The Double Buckle Belt

A well-made leather belt elevates the style quotient of just about any look, and it's well-worth the investment since you'll have it for years. If you're looking to add just a few key accessories for fall, the double-buckle belt is a fabulous option and few designers craft one quite like Linea Pelle. Above left, we have the Linea Pelle waist belt with leather covered studs, which costs $300 at CoutureCandy.com. If you're not sure how you feel about this look, or don't have a spare $300 lying around (I know I don't...) - never fear. Plenty of other stores are carrying similar double-buckle styles. The fantastic belt on the right is from New York & Company, also comes in brown, and it's on sale for under $20. Use your double-buckle belt to cinch a dress, jacket or tunic to instantly define your waist...and your look.

Luxe on left: Linea Pelle Leather Studded Belt at CoutureCandy.com, $300
Less on right: City Style Double Buckle Belt at NYandCompany.com, Was $22.95, Now $18.36

For years I never wore a belt for any reason. But now, I love love love them. F21 also has cute double and triple buckle belts.

I'd rock it! I've been having fun pairing chunky belts with flirty dresses.

I always see Linea Pelle stuff on major clearance at our local Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Might be worth checking there first!

I love the style of this belt, though it's not one I can really pull off. I've seen many low-price versions of this style at Target and Ross, recently.

Seriously?? I've never seen Linea Pelle at my Marshalls or TJ Maxx, I will definitely look for the brand next time I go!

Even though I love belts, I'm not sure I'd ever wear this look. Great find, though! I even like the look of the New York & Company belt better, if it's of good quality. :-) It looks much more versatile than the Linea Pelle belt.

I will definitely check out the cheaper option ... a lot of those structured, wide belts make me look a little squishy, but I'll keep questing for one that flatters.

There is also one I showed on Sienna last week from Bluefly. I have grown to like this type of belt.

I love these belts, but I have about 3 trillon wide black waist cincher belts, so I think I may look for one in a gorge plum, preferably patent.

They're getting harder to match with clothing tho, as I slowly migrate back to a "cover every glimpse of skin warmth" as Chicago inches towards winter.

I have this same belt from NY & Co and I love it! It is super comfortable due to the elastic in the back, but helps add so much structure to outfits!
