Premium Denim on a Budget

I'm a t-shirt and jeans girl at heart, which means I adore denim but refuse to pay hundreds for the designer stuff. The lovely founders of Alias Premium Denim feel the same way, which is why they started a company that sells premium denim jeans for only $40. I tried the "Sweet Dee", a dark wash, low rise, bootcut style (ie. a must-have for every woman), and I was really impressed with the fit, color and softness of the denim. They're also nice and long so I can wear them with heels or flats. If Alias Denim can dish up jeans this great for $40, I don't see why other companies can't do it too!

Wow those look awesome on you, love the color. And only $40?! I'm always on the lookout for affordable jeans, going to keep this new brand on my radar. Thanks!

Those jeans look great. Love the fit on you, and the color is something I've actually been hunting for lately. Love the $40 price tag even more, haha. I ambled over to the website-- you've made a customer of me.

:o)

Great jeans! I'd love to make a purchase, but I have an hour glass figure, and low-rise jeans are so unflattering to my curves.

Joann, have you tried Gap's "Curvy" denim? They're Gap's best-selling jean, and while I don't wear them myself, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about them. At $69.50 a pair and four different inseam options, it couldn't hurt to head to your local Gap and try them out. Or, you can check them out online here: http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=12099. :-)

I haven't! Thanks for the recommendation, I really appreciate it. :-) I try to avoid jean shopping at all costs. I plan on stopping by the mall tomorrow, so I'll peek into the Gap

They look really good and great price!! I've just bought 2 pairs of jeans here in the UK for £20 each - they are way better than any designer pair i've ever bought! The good stuff is out there and it doesn't need to cost a fortune - you just need to find it ;-)

Those jeans look really great on you. $40 bucks for a pair of jeans is not bad at all.
How long would you say those are? I'm 5'4 and have a horrible time finding jeans that are perfect in length with out making a trip to the tailors

Jennie,
The inseam is 32" for the Sweet Dee, so you would probably have to take a trip to the tailor but at least then the length will be perfect (how's that for a silver lining) :-)

Wow! Those look amazing on you! Isn't it awesome to find jeans that look as good as any premium brand for a lot cheaper? ^_^ Still haven't really been able to do this, myself, as I'm 5'4" and premium jeans are too long for me anyway, but maybe someday ...

What about the rear? That's the most important part for me. I can have a GREAT looking pair of jeans from the front but if the butt and pockets don't look quite right on my rump....forget it. What's your opinion?
