Ashlee Simpson was spotted in Manhattan wearing a 3.1 Phillip Lim check dress which she dressed up with black sheer tights, cage heels and a sweet Chanel satchel. This dress could just as easily be worn with flat sandals for a casual day of whatever but I like how the all-black accessories give it an unexpected edge. I'm loving Ashlee's hair color these days, too, definitely seems to suit her complexion and style way better than blond!
