I was wondering if you could suggest an outfit for me? I'm going to Atlantic City, New Jersey, to celebrate my 25th birthday with some friends and my boyfriend. We're gonna be dancing and gambling all night. I am going crazy trying to find the perfect outfit and shoes to wear. —Courtney

Great question, Happy Birthday in advance! You are going to have a fun night

So when I need a party outfit, I usually head to Forever 21. Do you like their stuff?

If you like to be comfy, you could pair this amazing top:

...with your fave dark-wash jeans and some black boots. Carry a black open-front drapy cardigan that you can toss on when you're cold, then bunch up in a ball and toss in your purse when you don't need it.

If you want something more girly, try this dress:

...wear with dark opaque tights, comfy black boots (like these) and top with a black blazer that you can keep on or take off depending on the situation.

Clutches are fun but you might forget it someplace, so I'd opt for a fun evening bag with a strap so it stays close by. You could always wrap your cardi or blazer kinda over the bag to keep hands free.

Beauty Review: Soak Wash Cleanser

I don't particularly like doing laundry (who does?) and one of the most annoying things are those delicate items—like bras, embellished tops and tights—which can easily get ruined in a washing machine. Been there, done that.

I'm not a fan of dry-cleaning (expensive and bad for the environment), so what I've typically done in the past to avoid washing-machine casualties is wash my delicates with Woolite in the sink. Don't get me wrong, Woolite is great—I've been using it for years—but I recently had the opportunity to test a new low-suds liquid called Soak, courtesy of the company's PR team, and I'm glad to have been introduced to this worthy alternative.

You can use Soak the same way you'd use Woolite: Fill your sink (or a bucket in the tub, if your sink-stopper doesn't work) with cool water, add a cap-full of Soak, let sit 15 minutes or while you watch Project Runway, come back, gently squeeze out the water, then lay flat to dry (a pop-up dryer is very handy for this!) or let bras drip-dry in the shower. Couldn't be easier.

The Christian Siriano for Payless Holiday 2009 Collection is now available at select Payless stores (read: the stores farthest from my house) and at Payless.com. Prices range from $29.99 to $49.99 for styles which include a peep-toe zipper boot, gold and black pump, gold flats, floral flats and a strappy sandal with a cone heel. There are also two handbags which I can't seem to find on their site at the moment so just keep an eye out for those. I would have liked to have seen a low-heel boot included in this sizzling collection. Aside from that, I think Siriano is definitely bringing The Fierce to Payless. Colored or patterned tights add visual interest to many cold-weather looks, and the best part is you don't have to spend a lot to get a great pair. I hate cleaning my hairbrushes. It's annoying and time consuming, and I regret having to admit this but more then once in my life I've thrown a brush away rather than clean it. So not green of me. So when I received my hairfreé brush samples, I was sold on the idea of a brush that virtually cleans itself! Simply put, it's simplified brush-hygiene—and I like it. Here's how it works: The hairfreé brushes have this clever mechanism built-in, such that, when you pull the handle, black plates that were previously flush to the body of the brush lift off and as they lift off, so does the hair. You still have to pluck off the hair but it's a whole lot easier.

Olsen Twins To Launch New Line Olsenboye for JCPenney

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a new affordable fashion line called Olsenboye, which will be sold exclusively at JCPenney stores beginning in November. The sisters announced the launch on Good Morning America (catch the video here). While Olsenboye is geared towards the tween and teen set, Ashley says in the interview that certain pieces will appeal to women of all ages. "It's really about quality and price and style," she says. "[W]e really wanted it to be lighthearted and just kind of a great line for really any age."

The Olsenboye collection will feature denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes ranging from $20 to $50. Off the Rack: Faux Fur Shrugs at Target

Faux fur can go horribly wrong whether it's done on a champagne or beer budget. Target has attempted to bring this top fall trend into focus with an assortment of faux fur shrugs. I think they succeeded with the cat print shrug ($39.99) and the brown/black minx ($39.99), but failed miserably with the gray-tipped mystery-animal (a Yeti perhaps?). I love faux fur and don't want to dismiss this collection entirely as I think it depends on what else you wear and how you wear it. Fashion Toast could probably make any of these shrugs look stellar. I, on the other hand, would probably look silly. Anyone feeling the faux-fur at Target?

Normal Kamali for Walmart leopard print wrap dress, $20

My sister told me she saw an amazing Normal Kamali for Walmart puffer coat featured in the last issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, so off I went this past weekend in hopes of scoring one for myself. No such luck. In fact, my Walmart didn't have any new Norma Kamali merchandise for fall/winter, expect for some new graphic tees (kinda lame, Norma). Many items from the summer were moved to the clearance racks like cargo pants and those oversized sweat separates (just what every woman needs more of. NOT.) Made me wonder, is Norma Kamali for Walmart being discontinued? Or are they just grossly behind on restocking? Anyone know?

Well, at any rate, I bought an amazing leopard print wrap dress by Ms. Kamali, which I just love. It looks like it could either have cost me $20 at Walmart or $400 from Norma Kamali's ebay store so... only I will know the truth! And you, my dear reader.

I was just asked by my Senior VP at work if I could make a presentation next week to a client of ours that's a bank CEO. I'm really excited about the opportunity but I don't own anything that even closely resembles a suit—I'm freaking out! Do you have any ideas where I can look this weekend for a cool but not-too-expensive suit? I'm not quite the suit-wearing type so I'm hoping to find a fun suit, if there is such a thing… —Desperately Seeking Suit

Congrats! You've been presented with a big opportunity at work, and your instincts to dress accordingly are correct. Now might be a good time to invest in a classic black or dark gray suit. Since you only have one weekend to shop, I recommend hitting up LOFT aka the store formerly known as Ann Taylor LOFT. They have some of the best suits in modern-classic styles, with feminine cuts that flatter many figures, all at very reasonable prices. You might even be able to find one on sale or ask a friend who shops there if she's received any rewards cards/deals by mail that you can use.

Look for a great fit, something that makes you feel powerful and comfortable when you're trying it on. Be sure to see how it moves when you walk around and move your arms up and down. If you feel awkward, keep looking. Another great store to check (and these are often located near Ann Taylor, at least where I live) is Banana Republic. Other stores that carry affordable, stylish suits include The Limited, Express and Macy's. Look for dark gray or black in a medium-weight fabric that you can wear for at least 3 seasons, if not year round.

Now for the fun part: Add your personal touch with a beautiful blouse, statement necklace or conservative yet colorful (or otherwise embellished) shoes! You can also mix-and-match the blazer with a pencil skirt and tights, or pair the pants with a nice top and vest (if it's less formal). Browse JCrew.com for style inspiration; you can imitate with less expensive wares.

Suits are generally conservative by nature, so opt for a great fit in the best fabric you can afford, get it tailored, then liven it up with your blouse, jewelry and other accessories.

This past Labor Day, I visited the world-famous Woodbury Common Premium Outlet Mall in Central Valley, New York. This upscale outlet mall boasts 220 stores including Balenciaga, Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tory Burch and many, many more. I didn't really think the deals were all that great, but I still had fun! Here are some of the highlights from my trip. Has anyone else been to Woodbury Commons? What did you think?
