Trompe l'Oeil: Nicole Miller Frocks

Can you guess which of these dresses is from Nicole Miller's eponymous line, and which is from Nicole by Nicole Miller, her more affordable line for JCPenney? Scroll down for the answer...no peeking!

Tough call, right?

Here's a clue: The dress on the left is made from silk/spandex. The dress on the right is made from polyester/spandex.

Now do you know? Here's the answer:

The dress on the left is a flower swirl dress by Nicole Miller, $320.00 at Bloomingdale's. The dress on the right is a Nicole by Nicole Miller print sheath dress, $80.00 $59.99 at JCPenney.com.

Since it's easy to tire of bold prints fast, we'd opt for the dress on the right. How bout you?

I had a feeling the Nicole design was on the left, just because the model was more exotic looking. While both frocks exhibit symmetry, which I am a big fan of, I'm more partial to the one of the left. The pattern on the right looks like widgets gone crazy and would be better suited on a scarf(or some other small garment).:-)

You got us there!

Also, the model on the right is smiling, which is usually a dead giveaway that's it from a store where real people shop ;-)

I agree, I called that it was the one on the left- both because of the pattern and because of the model. I tend ot notice that higher end lines almost NEVER use such a large print. I'm not such a fan myself...
