Gap and Goodwill have paired up just in time for spring cleaning! Once you've gone through your closet and packed up bags full of clothes you haven't worn in the past year (and probably never will), make just one stop at Gap. From May 19-29, Gap stores in the United States and Canada will accept your unwanted clothing donations, pass them along to Goodwill, and reward you with 30% off a new summer wardrobe! Your coupon will get you 30-percent off your entire Gap purchase, including regularly priced and sale items, just in time for Memorial Day shopping.
I usually donate my unworn clothing to the Salvation Army and/or Goodwill, so I already have a bag of donations ready to take with me on my next trip to the Gap. I just hope the Gap isn't handing out coupons to everyone regardless of whether they donate or not - I say this because when Gap had their denim recycling program and I brought some jeans in, the store employees said I didn't have to donate my jeans and just handed me a coupon (I donated them anyway). Not a good way to implement a program, but we'll see what happens this time since it's a different initiative entirely.
