According to the Hair Part Theory, where you part your hair may play a dramatic role in how other people perceive you - and these effects over the long term can change your personality:
Ok, so it's more quack science than rocket, but it's still kinda fun to think about (like horoscopes). Besides, changing your part is just about the cheapest way to make-over your look, and with Spring just around the corner, we're starting to think we could use a new 'do.
So what does your part say about you?
Splitting Hairs: Celebrities often change their parts, but do you think the Hair Part Theory holds water when it comes to stars like Jessica Simpson, Rachel Bilson, Rihanna, and America Ferrera?
"A left hair part draws unconscious attention to the activities that are controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain, i.e. activities traditionally attributed to masculinity. As far as those four go, I'd say I could see them all except Jessica Simpson being "collected", lol!
I'm in agreement that it sounds more like a horoscope/fortune cookie where these qualities can be applied to most people. Of course, there are exceptions like what Peaches said about Jessica Simpson being "calm and collected."
Now that I think about it, Angelina Jolie usually doesn't wear a part. she would have been a better example...
I guess the "study" looked at famous people throughout history too. They say Hilary Clinton's success as a politician, for example, can be attributed to her lifelong left side part. Go figure!
