My J.Crew Clearance Mini Haul

After writing this post earlier today about J.Crew's 30% off sale items sale, I couldn't resist heading over to my local store to scope it out. My wishlist included this plaid shirt, which I saw on What I Wore and just loved how Jessica Quirk styled hers - simple and chic. To my surprise, I actually found one in my size for $49.99 (down from $88) minus 30% off, bringing it to a reasonable $42. Sure, I could do better at Old Navy but what the heck. Another fun item I picked up was a pair of neutral socks featuring bright, neon pink polka-dots. How could I pass these up for just $7.99 (down from $12.5) minus 30%, bringing the price to $5.59?! Finally, I got a little something sparkly, a gorgeous moroccan-inspired stretch bangle that was $24.99 (down from $58), minus 30% off, which came out to $17.49. Nothing too crazy, but overall not too shabby either! Please note, the exact items I bought in store are sold out online but check jcrew.com's sale section, you might see something you love.

Should the shirt have been $35 if it was 30% off? :-)

Great finds, I managed to get the shirt online just before Christmas for $35 too! Such a great deal!

I scored some sweet eclectic electric blue plaid pants in the final sale section of J. Crew. I'm excited that I can both wear them now as a fashionable 26 year old woman, and also as an eccentric 90 year old granny.
