5 Sites Like Anthropologie (For Clothes!)

5 sites like Anthropologie (for clothes!)

Who among us hasn't poured over the pages of an Anthropologie catalog, swooning over each expertly styled outfit, photographed on the most alluring models, shot in the most stunning of landscapes (Iceland! New Zealand!)? The Anthro girl is the cool girl-turned-woman we all want to be: She reads (actual books, not Pinterest), she travels, she shops local. But then we catch a glimpse of the prices for all those fabulous clothes and accessories and our jaws drop as our hearts sink. Chin up, dreamers, for you can achieve that Anthropologie look for less by shopping for similar styles at these 5 budget-friendly retailers! (As for finishing that half-read copy of Emma on your Kindle, you're on your own dear friend.)

Shop Ruche is such a great place for Anthropologie dupes! My fave here is that first dress!

Eh. You just need to know how to shop at Anthropologie. I get all my stuff there for 80-90% off and it looks way better than the stuff from Franscesa or other knock-offs. Patience is key!veignbe

Francesca's can have some cute stuff but I question quality -- lots of polyester and other synthetics. Hard for me to justify the prices.

I appreciate this post with different alternatives. Even when Anthropologie has a sale, it is still out the reach of many people. In my experience even certain items are drastically reduced the popular sizes are all sold out.

How? I've never seen their clothes that cheap on clearance.

Try Spool No. 72, www.spool72.com.

ModCloth is my favorite for low budget Anthro clones. Though I'm also an avid Anthro sales shopper.

How could I forget ModCloth?!

I love their styling and lookbooks, accessories are spot on, too.

I got some cute home items (mug, cards, ornaments) on clearance after Christmas. My problem is that I live 45 minutes from the nearest store so I can't frequent the sales racks to get those awesome finds. But I wholeheartedly endorse your methods!

What other sites are there similar to Modcloth?
Would appreciate the variety...thanks in advance!

I've ordered several items from mod cloth and sent them all back. Quality is horrible.

Sadly, Ruche is closing down its operation and going out of business.

This isn’t quite an alternative, but I’ve had fantastic luck finding Anthropologie items on the secondhand clothing app Poshmark. They are often in perfect condition, and the prices are great.

Shameless plug: if you're new to Poshmark, sign up within the app (not the website) using referral code UNXAZ to get $5 off your first purchase. First purchase also has 99 cent shipping, yay!
