Spring Fashions at H&M

Spring 2009 Fashions at H&M

Spring collections have been steadily rolling out at all our favorites stores over the past couple weeks, and H&M is no exception. Since this fast-fashion giant doesn't have an online store, it's often neglected by this blog (sniff sniff), so I snapped some pics of the latest offerings to give you a taste of what I'm seeing here on the East Coast. A few key trends include the color coral, light denim, colorful florals, breezy chiffon blouses, khaki pants, flirty dresses and lacy corsets. I am so ready to shed my dark winter wardrobe and start shopping towards a brighter fashion future! How about you?

I just went there twice last week to take advantage of their 20% off coupons. They haven't been in SoCal all that long and I'd never been to this store but I was definitely impressed. Just being there made me want to dress a little nicer all the time. They took a bunch of my money in those two trips.

OMG...I was just in Philly & hit up 2 separate H&Ms (we don't have them here in AZ)...no where did I see that corset. Bummer, because I HEART it.

I bought my coat at Marshall's this season, it's a brand called Honee and I've seen similar coats at Overstock.com, too. I love it :-)

Cute! I was just in H&M last week (grabbed a fantastic wrap dress with the 20% off coupon--pictures on my blog), but I think I'll be heading back for a more extensive go through in the near future. BB, you are so not helping my wallet. ;-)

I have that pink corset top! Except, I bought it in size 2 thinking I can squeeze myself in it and it didn't happen! Then I bought a size 6 because that was all that was left and it's a little loose. I am tempted to buy a size 4 because I love the top so much

I saw the corset on sale for $20 at H&M yesterday! If my hands weren't already full with shopping bags, I would have bought it :-(

I know, I HATE that they dont have an on-line store- same with Zara-which is nowhere by me- at H&M is! :-)

No Denver H&M yet. :-( I'll have to wait for my summer trip to Europe to check out their styles (which will most certainly have changed by then). Love these looks, though!

H&M just doesnt do it for me anymore. I don't know if it's the one at my mall or what- here in Ohio, but I have not been wow-ed since the last major spree I went on in that store when I was in Boston about 2 years ago. Now that was an H&M I could have lived in!

I'm with you Dina. H&M keeps getting worse and worse. Before they went mega global the clothing was ok considering the cheap prices. Now the fabric is terrible, and the cuts are a disaster. The prices aren't even cheap anymore, smart shoppers would definitely shop around this store.

Last month I went to our newly-opened (but small) H&M and got a wraparound blouse in that coral color! It's reeeally pretty and I can't wait to wear it.

I love the colors they're showcasing for Spring, especially the teals and corals.

Now this REALLY makes me want to go shopping! I wish my college city carried an H&M.

I don't have an H&M and it bites. I've only been able to purchase H&M clothes when i went to new york. I live in florida close to miami you would think we would have one.

oooh all the pastels! LOVE :-) And what IS with them not having an online store? I guess that's probably a good thing for me, but still.

BTW those F21 coloured skinny jeans? I'm wearing them right now. Size 27 fits me perfectly (swear they cut them super large) - I'll post pics on my blog tomorrow with the red ones. I'm gonna stock up on more!

Where is this 20% coupon for H&M? How do I get it? As a teacher I need to save all the $ I can!
TIA

If you sign up for H&M offers at http://www.hmfriendsandfamily.com/, they will send you coupons via email. I think the 20% off coupon has expired, but I just posted the latest one, you can get it here:

OK, I was loving the looks until I reached the bottom jacket - 80's anyone (& I don't mean the good 80's) ?

I have to agree with some of the above comments, since H&M first came to the U.S. I get the feeling things have been more "Americanized" (for lack of a better term). I used to find all kinds of cool stuff, but I haven't bought anything there in a year or more. I won't count H&M out yet though. Then again, the designer's spring/fall collections didn't really do it for me this year from what pics I saw.
