LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls in Shape Magazine

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls in Shape Magazine

We finally have a first look at Lauren Conrad's new fashion collection for Kohl's, LC Lauren Conrad, thanks to the September 2009 issue of Shape magazine and blogger Hills Freak (hillsfreak.blogspot.com), who took the time to scan in the following spreads for your viewing pleasure! (Thank you, Hills Freak!!) I see a lot of potential here. Nothing ground-breaking, but I think I could make many of these pieces my own, like the purple ruffle top and the strapless LBD. The line launches in October and will be priced from $20 to $60. Click any thumbnail to enlarge for a better view and as always, let me know what YOU think in the comments!

I wasn't too excited about her line until I saw this spread in SHAPE. I see a lot of things worth checking out when her line hits stores. I hope the items are as cute in person.

I completely agree. October will certainly be marked in my calendar. Anyone have any more specific dates yet? I hope you'll keep us updated, BB! :-) This line has a lot of potential!

I love almost everything there (yay!). LOVE the purple ruffle top and the jacket/scarf outfit in the "pear shaped" spread.

I'm super excited to check this stuff out!

omg i think its awful! It looks SO mass-marketed. wow...I did like her original line I just thought it was way overpriced. Why couldn't she make similar items with cheaper jersey fabric? Are those items show flat on the page also hers? Because those don't look as bad as what's on the models. That floral top makes me want to vomit...lol

I really like the petite LBD. It's something I could actually see myself wearing. I am not fond of the "billowy" tops paired with fitted jeans. This may work on some petite frames but it makes me look really top heavy even though I'm really small busted. I'm all shoulders DX

Not to impressed. It looks average like you said nothing ground breaking. I do like that gold beaded purse but not for $35. Will def. have to check it out in person to make a final decision.

I will most likely get the top LC is wearing and the cuffed blazer. I also want her jeans and the light colored one. The line looks great thus far and good prices. I will check it out for sure.

Thanks for covering this, I also like what I see, very wearable! I'll be checking out Kohl's for sure! I think Lauren is a pretty decent role model for girls, so it's great to see her succeed.

i liked the clinched purple top too.. that is something that i can pay for it to be in my wardrobe ... i loved it :-)

I'm with everyone in that I really love the purple top too, but it looks like it might be cinched with elastic right at the part of my midsection that I'm most uncomfortable with...I'd have to try it on to make a final decision.

I think the line has a lot of potential...however I'm going to wait 'til it goes on sale. It's a lil pricey for Kohls and I can't see the quality being THAT high that it would make it worth the price...willing to bet F21 will have similar styles later this fall with much better prices.
