If you've ever shopped in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, then you probably already love Francesca's Collections for it's unique, treasure-trove approach to retail. The store is filled with charming jewelry, gifts, apparel and home accessories that seem handpicked from around the globe—all at affordable prices. I didn't even realize they had an online boutique (as well as multiple store locations nationwide!!) until reader Claudia tipped me off to this exciting fact. Definitely check this store out if you have one near you, and if not, browse their stellar online store. Here's a sampling of the great things you'll discover (click any image for more info):
Santa Monica Pier Wrap, $34. Nautical stripes make this the perfect lightweight cover-up for summer outings.
Let It Be Dress, $44. I'm still loving these two-in-one colorblock dresses made popular by designer brands like Theory. Just add cute sandals and a purse and you're all set.
Stone Butterfly Brooch, $24. A vintage-look brooch can be worn so many ways. Love the turquoise color.
First Kiss Tote, $44. An intricate woven lattice exterior lends interest and texture to this white tote.
Last night, I reported that Target has a new plus-size collection in the works, Pure Energy, and now we have some new photos of the line. What do you think so far? I'm with reader Joann, who left a comment saying she questions the choice of sheer fabric for a few of these tops. I'm also having trouble with the color palette and those ripped jeans. Of course, we'll reserve further judgment until we can see the whole collection.
P.S. For those of you following this week's new store spotlights, fear not, I'll be posting another not-to-be-missed boutique later today. Please check back!

I hadn't been to Editor's Closet in a while, but today's sales are worth sharing. They're got Alexis Hudson handbags, which are beautiful investment bags that were introduced to me by a reader a while back. I don't own one, but they're tempting! A black leather tote, for example, normally $750 is now $260. Also on sale is jewelry by CC Skye, great architectural pieces like a wood and gold bangle for $22, down from $60. There are two Skagen watches I'm loving, marked down from $150 to $45, with an awesome retro vibe. I can't decide between the gold or silver. Drop me a comment if you'd like an invite to check out the sale.
